pendant, probably representing a jaguar; cast by the lost wax method, showing part of the clay and charcoal core; this pendant was discovered at Venada Beach, an ancient burial site at Howard Air Field in the Canal Zone; this site has revealed a culture similar to the Coole people over 100 miles north and a strong link with South American metal artistry
