Sword guard (tsuba)

Sword guard, Bushu schools, circular. Openwork design of bamboo branches and leaves in positive silhouette; touches of gold. Pierced, carved, engraved and damascened; gold damascening; brown patina; rim varied. Two blade holes (?). Inscription on obverse; signed, Masayoshi who lived in Bushu.
