Sword guard, Bushu schools, circular. Openwork design of battledores and shuttlecocks in negative silhouette and incised on surface. Pierced, engraved, and inlaid design; brass and copper inlays; brown patina; gold damascened rim smooth. Three blade holes. Inscription on obverse.
