Frieze Hanging
Frieze hanging of brocaded white satin with Buddhist symbols and symbols of the Seven Precious Things in shaped medallions spaced along the length of the hanging and separarted from each other by large leafy sprays centered with a lotus bud. Shades of blue, pink, rose, red, yellow, green, tan, etc., with gold thread details. These are said to be two of four similar friezes used to decorate the room of the Lama temple. Along the top a running border of red monster masks hung with numerous pendant chains. Lining of blue silk.
