Manchu Man's Formal Court Collar

Collar of dark blue brocaded silk with two five-clawed dragons in gold. Surrounding clouds in shades of blue and green. The collar is banded, along border and over shoulders, with gold threads couched in red. Border of black and gold brocade. Lining of crimson and gold brocade. Heavily padded. Inscription. Lining worn at edges. Cf. dragons with 42.8.7 and other K'ang Hsi robes.
