Dragon robe
Imperial robe of k'ossu with gold thread background and nine 5-clawed dragons in blue, those in profile grasping the Heavenly Jewel. In the ground, loosely-drawn clouds, bats, peonies, and Buddhist symbols in tones of blue, red, rose, green, brown, black, mauve. Border of slanting, straight stripes, in body colors plus yellow, toped with spray and curling waves in which appear symbols of the Eight Precious Things. Same border design on sleeve above a strip of blister ribbed dark blue satin ending in blue k'ossu cuffs with bats and universe design. Same collar band, but with coral sprays in waves. Note painted areas in waves and dragon details. Robe slit front and back and lined with thn blue silk. The k'ossu in this robe coarse, and with many breaks on shoulders.
