Dragon Robe

Court robe of medium blue k'ossu with swastika fret background in lighter blue. Nine 5-clawed dragons in gold. In ground loosely-drawn clouds, bats, peonies, and Buddhist emblems in shades of blue, green, yellow, olive green, rose, red and soft violet. Conventional border of slanting straight lines, tight clouds and rolling waves in which appear swastka, Buddhist symbols and cash emblems. Below border on sleeve a strip of darker blue ribbed satin. Cuffs and collar of dark blue k'ossu with fretwork background in lighter blue, bats, clouds etc. Edging of brown and gold brocade. Painted details.
