Woman's Coat

Robe or coat of dark blue cut velvet on light blue satin ground. Design of peonies, bats, butterflies, swastikas and double peach. Narrow collar band and continuous border of white satin embroidered with flowers, bats, and symbols in blue, green, rose, yellow, and rust red. Inner border of yellow silk braid with floral design in rose and green. Wide sleeves with cuffs of rose red cut velvet on the pale blue ground. Design of peonies and leaves. Outer border of black satin embroidered in satin stitch with bats and flowers in shades of blue. Lining of thin yellow silk with floral pattern.
