Taoist Robe

Taoist priest robe of embroidered yellow satin. Conventional back panel in couched gold threads and couched twist in colors. Back of robe has figures of Lohans in colors in a field of interlocking clouds in couched twist and gold threads. All borders of black brocaded silk embriodered with Lohans and clouds and edging of gold paper strips. Figures done in satin stitch. Lining of pale rust-colored satin.
