Taoist priest robe(theatrical?) of light brown satin with swastika fret diaper embroidered in couched gold threads on back and shoulders. On the back the Yang-Yin symbol embroidered in couched gold and applique, and the eight trigrams in floral medallions, also couched gold. At the waist-line, front and back is an applied band of light blue satin embroidered in couched gold and bordered with a strip of green and orange tasseled fringe. All borders of black satin embroidered in couched gold. Green firnge at bottom. Lining of coarse natural cotton. This robe has wide sleeves. Robe soiled and stained. Inscription.
