Basket

Deep round basket of plain twined weaving with false embroidery. The weaving and foundation are probably spruce root, and the false embroidery is dyed grasses. The design consists of successive stripes of purple, red, orange and green. There are two bands of false embroidery, which consist of parallelograms and coyote tracks in red and brown against a natural background.
