Toile

Toile, shaped valance section of, printed in rose with scenes depicting rural activities in a landscape with towers, classic arches, cottages, trees, river, etc. Backed with canvas, lined with cotton batten, and quilted loosely in large lozenge design. One end and two sides formerly finished in buttonhole stitch in blue.
