Dragon robe
Court robe of faded rust-colored k'ossu with nine 5-clawed dragons in gold. Loose clouds, bats, and Buddhist symbols in shades of red rose, blue, green, yellow, olive green and soft violet. Conventional border of slightly wavy slanting stripes in body colors; tight clouds and rolling waves with bats, branches of coral, swastika, jui, etc. Below border on sleeves a strip of dark blue blister-ribbed satin. Cuff and collar band of dark blue k'ossu edged with blue and gold fretwork brocade (badly worn on cuff). Robe slit front and back and lined with thin blue silk. Painted details. K'ossu of firm quality; broken in places.
