Robe

Heavy robe of dark blue twill embroidered in black with large, oblong pots of narcissus. Narrow collar band and all-around border of black satin with narrow inner bands of gold braid. Wide sleeves with cuffs of white satin embroidered with medallions containing, alternately, figures and old-style characters and small landscape scenes. Satin and outline stitch in black, pale yellow, green and blue and gold threads. Inner border of black satin coresponding to collar band. Lining of thin blue silk.
