Panel Fragment

Panel of k'ossu depicting the Taoist Immortal Chang Kuo Lao with his emblem, the Tabor an two bamboo tubes with which to beat it. The figure is depicted in dull olive green, blue and black on a faded brick-red ground. On Chang's coat are the eight trigrams in gold, and beneath his feet the rolling waves in shades of blue, green and tan. Gold threads. This is one of a set of eight, depicting the eight Immortals.
