Twelve Symbol Robe
Imperial 12 Symbol Robe of yellow k'ossu with nine five-clawed dragons in gold, those in profile clutching the Heavenly Jewel. In addition to the 12 symbols, clusters of tight clouds, two versions of long-life character, and bats, in shades of blue, mauve, green, pink, yellow, red, olive-green and white. Wide border of slightly wavy slanting stripes in body colors seperated by a line of tight clouds from spray and rolling waves in which appear swastika and branches of coral. Border design repeated on sleeves above a strip of pale beige damask of medallion design which ends in cuffs of dark blue k'ossu of body design edged and enlarged with black and gold brocade, Collar band of same. Robe slit at sides and lined with pale yellow damask of medallion design. K'ossu of fine quality. Note seal inside of robe.
