Fringe with warp-twined heading, ikat band, Pieced, block-printed lining
The ground fabric is red cotton with a brown striped cotton substrate. The polychrome silk embroidery is worked through both layers. There is a silk/cotton ikat binding, and a cotton fringe. The back of the bag is pieced of coarsely woven block printed cotton. Ikat binding extends to reverse to form sides of bag.
