Wall hanging
Fringes with warp-twined (LM) heading, wide embroidered bands . Overall cross stitch embroidery in silk, synthetic, and cotton threads on a cotton ground with center vertical join. The borders are attached red wool bands with chain stitch dominating, backed with cotton fabric. The panel is trimmed with cotton fringe. There are two intact hanging loops. No backing is present; the construction technique is clearly visible on the reverse.
