Woman's blouse (Huipil)

two indigo blue paneled cotton huipil; woven on a back strap loom; nine purple and multicolored zoomorphic brocaded birds (swans) on both sides of each panel; on the shoulders, a 2" wide section divides each panel horizontally with a multicolored geometric brocaded design; 1" brocaded border surrounds the armholes; fine Randa embroidery in purple putting the two panels together; Randa is left open for nursery purposes; neckline is hand embroidered
