two white cotton paneled huipil; woven on a back strap loom with six purple warp stripes, 0.4" wide, intercepted by one wide red warp stripe, 0.3" wide, in the center of each panel; every 3", a fine hidden red weft strip divides the sections of multicolored zigzag brocaded designs creating a larger checker; embroidered birds decorate each checker; collar satin decoration (moon symbol) applied to top and embroidered volcano symbol on both sides of the collar
