Whetstone handle, in the form of the forequarters of an ibex; the body of the ibex forming a cone-shaped socket for the whet-stone, the head and neck forming a decorative handle; horns of ibex separated and joined at end to back of neck, forming a complete circle into which protrudes animal's ears; front legs and shoulders of crouching ibex represented in low relief, behind these is a hole piercing both sides of socket through which a pin was passed to fasten whetstone; bronze
