Belt hook
This example is in the form af an elephant head with large ears and a short, raised trunk. The former are joined to short horns that stem from the forhead shield of a t'ao-t'ieh like mask. The ears are adorned with large spirals inlaid with silver. The eyes, one still filled with turquoise inlay, are outlined with a band of silver inlay. The horns are tipped with silver and a motif above the nose is executed in silver inlay. The stud at the back of the head is round and fairly large, It too displays a motif in silver inlay. Patina grey-green with small areas of bright green on front and back.
