Dutiful Daughter in a Solitary House

{Ishi-makura} (Stone-pillow) legend; There was an old woman living in a solitary house in Musashino field. She occasionally let travellers passing by her neighborhood stay her house. At night, she killed the travellers by throwing stones to their heads from the hole of the ceiling to steal their money. Her daughter tryed to stop her crime. Kannon helped the daughter by showing up in front of the mother.
