Two Morning Glories
Imperial Fei-ts'ui jade carving in the form of Two Morning Glories resting on openly carved branches surrounded by leaves. A dragonfly and a butterfly are also carved in deep relief on the flower. The carving is brilliantly p[olished. The butterfly is the emblem of conjugal felicity - in fact it might almost be called the 'Chinese Cupid'. Carved wood base.
