candle stand with large single pricket, revolving arms for two smaller candles of later date; standard is tapered to a height short of five feet; from the upper polyhedral knob four riveted brackets enclosing flat-work trefoils support a circular carriage; two extended and superposed arms, collared upon the central candle base and revolvable upon the circular strap carry the two smaller lights
