Winter Cricket Cage

slightly waisted six part secondary molded gourd with a pointed bottom, used as a cricket carrier or cage; slightly bulging lid is made out of tortoiseshell and is decorated all over with a design of squirrels and grapevines; lip of the lid and rim of the gourd are both made of ivory; the whole of the gourd is decorated with a design of bats amongst clouds
