frame, Florentine, wood cassetta with stylized fleur-de-lis corners and centers in black and gold, Purchased to frame 47.41, Matisse, WHITE PLUMES; Removed from the painting at MOMA for Matisse Retrospective (possible infestation). Upon return it was decided not to place the painting back in this frame.
