hair pin; long pin end is flat and wide at bottom, is round and twisted near top; on top of pin end there is a circle of wrapped wire; the center has a tiny sphere; two strips of square wire come off the circle on each side and end in curlicues; each set of square wires has a small, pedestaled sphere decorating their intersection; the square wires thus make a cross-like shape with the circle at the center
