Inrō with Carved Lacquer Decoration and Netsuke of a Chinese Lion

Inrō in five sections with head slide and square wooden netsuke with round metal disk, design in relief. Box of incised lacquer of cinnabar lacquer covered with dark brown, scroll design. Inside nashi-ji finish, gold foil scattered on reddish brown bed. Probably 19th century, although the style started under Qianlong (1736-1795). Ojime of polished goldstone
