rug, Feraghan type, black field covered with Herati pattern and enclosed sawtooth border. The corners of the field repeat the Herati design on pale orange field. There are five borders; the main one contains a shield shape with small rosette on a black field. The outer borders carry undulating flower and vine. Sides overcast with dark wool. One end has a short web with blue and rose wool threads run through it, and short warp fringe. The other end has web with tan and rose threads through it and knotted warp fringe. Ghiordes knot. Cotton warp and woof.
