Dragon robe
Mandarin coat, blue silk ground, embroidered with bats, clouds, peonies, etc., in blue, yellow, red, peach and white. Deep wave border with superimposed clouds and peonies solidly embroidered in same colors. Nine large imperial dragons in gold thread on chest, back, shoulders and above border. Three small round gilt buttons. Light blue damask lining. Garment much worn around neck and cuffs. The scalloped designs at the top of the wave border symbolize the 'mountains of Western Paradise.'
