[Inrō with design of sparrows over rocks and waves]

Round inrō; wooden, seascape in flat gold lacquer (hiramakiye waves, boulder with bushes, birds) on both sides. Gold worn off along edges. Ojime of red coral? Netsuke, circular, of carved and pierced ivory. Continuous scene, showing three men, one carrying umbrella, crossing a bridge over a stream to a house. Three figures of metal, fitted into the ivory, to which piece end of cord is knotted.
