'The Life of Christ', glazed ceramic, Italian XVIc each panel is 13 x 13'; all 15 put into 1 panel/framework; stored uprightSeries of terra cotta bas reliefs depicting scenes from the life of Christ. The set was formerly attributed to Maestro Giorgio Andreoli da Grubbio. Figures modeled in bas relief in both ploychromed and glazed terrcotta with blue, green and gold predominating. Scenes enclosed in recessed frames glazed in white. Order of panels from left to right The Annunciation; Anne and Joachim; The Adoration; Christ among the Doctors; Agony in the Garden; The Derision; The Flagellation; The Road to Calvary; The Crucifixion; The Resurrection; The Ascension; The Descent from the Cross; The Ascesion of the Virgin; The Crowning of the Virgin
