Side chair, one of a pair
Chairs, pair of, cabriole legs with acanthus carved on the knees. The carving of acanthus continues into and forms the ear of the knee. The top is carved into a tassellated curtain simple leaf design. Dutch grooved feet; slip seats upholstered in blue brocaded silk. These chairs were sometimes called Hogarth chairs. George II
