Bishop's cope of scarlet satin with gold front panels, shoulders, and free-hanging panel and lower border, all of scarlet faille embroidered with flower sprays and arabesques of gold thread in basket, long and short satin, stem, and other stitches and couching. Embroidered sections edged with gold gimp, fringed at bottom and around panel; otherwise plain. Coat-of-arms (red lion rampant with blue collar) surmounted by cardinal's hat, in appliquéd embroidery, at bottom of both front panels. Hanging panel lined with scarlet taffeta, cope proper with red sateen (modern).
