Ewer, Persian form, pear-shaped body with spout and handle; painted in underglaze blue on white ground; blue is probably the 'Mahommedan Blue' especially popular in late Ming Period; characteristic 'Wall of China' motif on lip and foot; lotus design on neck; peony and leaves ornament body; very heavy
