Chasuble front
Chasuble, green-gold velvet with simple pomegranate pattern on deep rose silk ground. Embroidered cruciform orphrey on back, representing vertically, at top: 2 half-length angels, Virgin and Child, the Fathers of the Church, two by two, under Gothic canopies; horizontally, 2 groups of female saints, left, St. Catherine of Alexandria and St. Barbara, right, unidentified. The embroidery is mostly in gold and silver, couched with red and blue.
