Imhotep
the scribe, Shown seated, wearing a wide collar and a long skirt, holding a scroll. Imhotep was the scribe of Memphis. He was revered as a sage and became considered as the god of medicine during the Ptolemaic period. Small votive statues were offered to him by those who had undergone miraculous cures.
